Currently the CEO of Tsunami XR, another business he co-founded in 2014, he has said that the idea for starting this business came about when he realized that people were transitioning out of the CPU-driven computer age into the GPU-driven era, and because of this, he knew that there was going to be a need for new software applications and platforms in order to make this necessary. Tsunami XR provides software solutions to some of the biggest companies all over the world, and the company employs between 200 and 500 people.
Alex Hern has had a focus on the early stages of start-up companies in the technology industry for the last decade, and he’s always looked for ways to help businesses improve through innovations in that field. He feels that entrepreneurs should have long-term views when making important business decisions, and that they should take their time and concentrate on their key goals for at least 4 to 5 hours a day without allowing themselves to be interrupted. Alex Hern also thinks that they shouldn’t be afraid to fail and make mistakes, because he feels that it’s all part of the learning process.
